Welcome, and thank you for joining our publications. We haven’t been able to write such stories for a long time due to our excessive workload, but with this opportunity, we want to introduce one of our services which might be helpful for some of you.
As content curators of ILLUMINATION publications on Medium.com, we have observed a troubling trend: fiction struggles to find its footing on this platform. Out of 300+ boosted stories on ILLUMINATION-Curated, only two pieces have received a boost in the last nine months. This stark statistic highlights the challenges fiction writers face in gaining visibility and engagement here. But there’s good news for fiction writers!
In 2020, our chief editor, Dr Mehmet Yildiz. created a Quora space for fiction writers. Initially it was well received but since our volunteer editors and curators were too busy with Medium content the club couldn’t grow.

However, one inspiring volunteer showed her leadership. Moderated by the talented Scarlet Ibis James 🦩 — a passionate fiction writer herself — this Quora space is designed to connect writers and readers alike.
Recently, Scarlet Ibis James faced a moment of deep disappointment due to a lack of engagement in the ILLUMINATION Fiction Club. She was on the verge of resigning from her role as moderator, feeling disheartened by the struggles she encountered.
